Is the record cut to lacquer, or DMM?

Lacquer. Every run includes lacquers and stampers cut for both sides.

Here is the chain in plain terms. Your master is cut to a lacquer disc on a lathe. That lacquer is plated in metal to make the stampers. The stampers are what actually press your records. DMM is the alternative, where the cut goes straight to a copper plate instead of a lacquer. Ours is a lacquer chain.

The cutting and plating for both sides is part of every package, so it is not a line item you have to ask for.
