We are currently seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Music Metadata Specialist & User Support Representative to join our dynamic team. This role is instrumental in ensuring the accuracy of our music metadata and delivering exceptional support to our users.

Salary: $35,000/year

Location: Remote


Music Metadata Management:
Review and verify music metadata for accuracy and completeness, including artist names, track titles, album information, genres, and release dates. Coordinate with music labels and independent artists to obtain correct metadata and resolve discrepancies. Update and maintain the music database, ensuring all information is current and accurate. Collaborate with the tech team to improve metadata collection and validation processes.

User Support:
Serve as the first point of contact for user inquiries and support requests via email, chat, and social media platforms. Provide timely and empathetic assistance to users experiencing issues with the platform, such as account problems, navigation difficulties, and playback issues. Collect and report user feedback to the development team to help enhance platform functionality and user experience. Create and maintain a knowledge base of FAQs and troubleshooting guides for users.


Strong passion for music and familiarity with various music genres and trends.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- A firm grasp of music metadata and it's importance to the music value chain.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in using digital platforms and technology.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience in music metadata management, customer service, or a related field
- Experience in customer or technical support roles.
- Experience as a music artist.
- Familiarity with basic database management and basic data entry skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in Music, Library Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Physical work location within a major music market.
