Will my music copyright be used as collateral for a royalty advance?

Last updated on

Nope, you can relax about that! When you get a royalty advance from us, you keep the copyright to your music. We don't take that away from you. What we do instead is take a right to your royalties – but only until the advance is fully paid back. This means we'll use your music's earnings to recoup the advance, but the copyright, the heart and soul of your music, stays completely with you. So, you continue to own your creative work while we just help manage the financial part until the advance is settled.
