To ensure that your music meets the necessary audio file requirements for distribution on Unchained Music, please adhere to the following guidelines:

Mastering: Before distribution, it is essential that all audio files have undergone a mastering process to meet industry standards. Failure to do so may result in rejection during our quality assurance process.

File Formats: Accepted audio file formats include:

  1. WAV at 16-bit depth, 44.1kHz, stereo.
  2. FLAC at 16-bit depth, 44.1kHz, stereo.

Audio Quality: Audio files should be of high quality and free from background noise and sound imperfections.

Silences or Pauses: Tracks should not contain extended silences, pauses, or dead space at the end. If a song ends with silence, it should not exceed ten seconds in duration. Distributing tracks that consist primarily or entirely of silence is not allowed.

Minimum Track Length:

  1. For singles, a song must have a duration of more than 60 seconds to prevent potential issues related to click fraud.
  2. For albums, streaming services typically require an average track length of more than 60 seconds.
