What do the release statuses mean?
Every release in your Catalog displays a status that tells you exactly where it is in the distribution process. Below is what each status means and what, if anything, you need to do.
Draft
You have saved a version of the release to your Catalog. The release is not in the distribution queue. Complete and submit the release for distribution to add it to the distribution queue.
Pending
The release is in the distribution queue pending review by our team. The release will be reviewed within the timeframe of your plan.
Approved
The release has been approved by our team and is being packaged for stores. Once packaging is complete and deliveries to stores have begun, the status will automatically update to "Processing to Stores".
Processing to Stores
The release is currently being distributed to stores. The status will update automatically as each individual store receives and processes the release. The amount of time required for processing varies from store to store.
Partial Success
The release has been successfully delivered to some stores while other stores may still be processing it. If a release has failed to a particular destination, the store status will update on the Individual Release page in your dashboard under the "Distribution" tab. Please review the note for the error message from the store for any edits required to the release information, and request another delivery through the "Edit release" feature.
Success
The release has been successfully distributed to all stores you selected.
Taken Down
The release has been taken down from all stores.
Failed
After our team has reviewed your distribution request, edits are required in order for the release to be eligible for distribution. Please review the email sent to you for the required edits, then click the "Edit release" button to review the comments left by our team by clicking the "View errors" button in the upper left-hand corner of the form. The fields requiring edits will be highlighted by a red button — when clicked, the required edits will appear in a pop-up.
Rejected
The release has been rejected by our team and is no longer viable for distribution. Please contact our support team if you require further information.
Distribution Failed
The release has failed to be packaged for distribution to stores. Our team is automatically notified when packaging fails. No action is required on your part unless our team fails the release and requests edits. If this status lasts for more than 24 hours, please contact our support team for assistance.
