Do I need a separate master for vinyl?

You do not need a different mix, but the master that goes to vinyl is not always the master that goes to streaming.

A cut for vinyl treats a few things differently. Hard sibilance, very wide low end and heavy limiting all behave differently on a lathe than they do on a streaming service. A master prepared with the cut in mind will sound closer to your intent on the record.
