Vevo is the leading music video platform on YouTube, trusted by major labels and artists around the world.
When you distribute through Unchained Music, your video is delivered to an official Vevo-branded channel, unlocking greater exposure, monetization, and credibility with fans.
We offer Vevo distribution to artists on our Pro and Partner plans who meet Vevo’s technical and creative standards. Our team reviews each submission to ensure quality, compliance, and readiness.
We handle the setup, delivery, and metadata—so you can focus on your visuals and your audience.
Vevo channels appear more frequently in search results, offer verified artist branding, and can improve visibility in YouTube’s algorithm.
Your fans will see your content with Vevo credibility—boosting stream counts and helping you secure editorial attention across platforms.
We only distribute official music videos to Vevo on YouTube. Other formats (lyric videos, visualisers, interviews) are not supported at this time. Once you submit your video through Unchained Music, our team reviews it against Vevo's quality standards, prepares the metadata, and delivers it directly to Vevo for publishing on YouTube via their official channel network. Your video will appear under a verified Vevo artist channel, giving it a professional, industry-standard presence.
No, Unchained Music only distributes to Vevo, which publishes directly to YouTube via their official channel network. We do not currently offer video distribution to Apple Music, Tidal, or any other video platforms. If this changes in the future, we'll update our artists and make the option available through the dashboard.
Artists on any of our plans that have professional-quality visuals, original music, and proper ownership rights are eligible to distribute music videos. Each video must pass internal and Vevo quality checks before submission. This means your video should be a minimum of 1080p resolution, free from any copyright-infringing material, and the audio should be professionally mixed and mastered. If your submission doesn't meet the required standard, our team will let you know what needs to be adjusted before resubmission.
Our team will create and manage your official Vevo channel as part of the submission process. If you already have one, we'll deliver your content to it. You don't need to set anything up on your end — once your first video is approved and delivered, your Vevo channel will be live and linked to your artist identity. Any future video submissions will be published to the same channel, building your catalogue in one place.
